  • Choose an area familiar to all players
  • All sharp, pointed objects should be removed from the area of play
  • Ensure no body of water is nearby

Mission

The guide sets boundaries around the area of play. The area may be naturally challenging to navigate, or players may add props, chairs, or other obstacles.

Whiskers and Cloaks put on blindfolds. Their goal is to navigate the area from start to end point, moving as naturally as possible. Props and natural elements can be touched to gain awareness, but other players should be sensed and given their own space.

The Pathfinder acts as a shepherd, verbally coaching the “blind sheep” teammates. In addition to warning of obstacles, the Pathfinder can encourage and maintain contact with their blindfolded teammates to ease the anxiety of moving without sight.

Target Acquired – The Pathfinder guides teammates not to the end of a course, but to a specific objective. This can include finding or interacting with a specific object among the course.
